About the Army Fitness Test
Army Fitness Test (AFT)
The official U.S. Army physical fitness test of record (effective June 1, 2025), designed to increase warfighting readiness, reduce injury risk, and enhance physical performance.
Five Test Events:
- 3 Repetition Maximum Deadlift (MDL)
- Hand Release Push-Up (HRP)
- Sprint-Drag-Carry (SDC)
- Plank (PLK)
- Two-Mile Run (2MR)
Scoring: Combat specialties require 350 total (60 min per event). Age-normed scoring applies with 300 minimum total.

About the Developer
Nick Mackowski
Nick operates under Service Training Systems LLC which builds applications such as this one. In his day to day, he currently supports NASA's People Analytics as a contractor. He specializes in translating complex organizational challenges into actionable insights through data analytics, data visualization, automation, and reporting. He also likes rock climbing.
Nick brings a unique perspective with a multidisciplinary background spanning human performance research and analytics. He holds a B.S. and M.S. in Kinesiology and maintains certifications in cybersecurity, cloud engineering, and of course the CSCS.
Nick partnered with MOPS & MOES to develop AFT Insight, combining his expertise in human performance and development to provide soldiers with AFT insights.
